YEREVAN. – A Russian tax service delegation, led by Deputy Commissioner Dmitry Grigorenko of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, is in Armenia for exchange of knowhow.

The delegation got familiarized with the process of introduction, use, registration and oversight of labels that were put into use in Armenia between 2013 and 2014.

Deputy Minister of Finance of Armenia, Armen Alaverdyan, underscored this exchange of knowhow, and stressed that cooperation between the two countries is quite deep, especially in the Information Technology (IT) sector.

In Grigorenko’s words, the Russian delegation is impressed by Armenia’s E-governance system, especially by the high level of online procedures of the Ministry of Finance of Armenia.

In addition, the Russian delegation members and Armenian IT developers discussed online use and oversight of labels.

The guests were also introduced the use of new generation inspection cash registers in Armenia. 

Furthermore, the Russian delegation members were familiarized with the services provided to the country’s taxpayers.
