Armenia’s PM Hovik Abrahamyan will leave for China on September 23-25 to take part in a large economic forum. During his visit, Abrahamyan will have a working meeting with his Chinese counterpart and will discuss the issue of Iran-Armenia railway, Armenia’s PM Hovik Abrahamyan said on the first day of “Baze-2015” Pan-Armenian Youth Assembly.

According to him, Armenia has problems with infrastructures. “We have no way out to the sea. Extensive work is being carried out on the construction of Iran-Armenia railway. [Armenia’s] President visited China several months ago and reached a provisional political agreement on that matter. This is a big opportunity to stimulate exports, immediately reach Asia, and, why not, Europe,” Abrahamyan said.

The discussions will concern possible Chinese investments into the project.
