YEREVAN. - Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan ordered to strictly investigate the incidents related to the names of the Armenian Football Federation President Ruben Hayrapetyan and ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP Mher Sedrakyan.

Armenia’s Prosecutor General’s Office will make an official statement in the coming days, Eduard Sharmazanov, Parliament Vice President and RPA spokesman told Armenian News – NEWS.am today after the session of the RPA Executive body.

“I’ll refrain from any estimation while we are speaking about assumptions. I’m sure the Prosecutor General’s Office will make an official statement on these events in the coming days,” Sharmazanov said, stressing that the RPA has always condemned violence.

Wife of Arsen Avetisyan, 51% shareholder and director of Air Armenia, said her husband was beaten up by Ruben Hayrapetyan’s 7-8 body guards in the presence of many people. Today Avetisyan said he’s ready to accept the negotiated settlement agreement and will not file a complaint with regard to the incident.

Besides, information has been disseminated recently about the battery of “Intra-national Liberation Movement” initiative head Vahan Martirosyan and his wife in their home. Earlier, Martirosyan had told Armenian News – NEWS.am they were beaten by the close circles and bodyguards of Mher Sedrakyan, a ruling party MP.

Criminal case has been launched into the case.
