Russian Defense Minister Anatoliy Serdyukov commented on Russia’s supplies of S-300 anti-aircraft missile system to Iran.
According to him, Russia has not made a decision on supplies yet. “We do not supply anything. There is no such decision,” Serdyukov told the journalists in Yerevan.
The contract on S-300 supplies to Iran was signed in 2005 end. However, during the meeting with French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Russian Premier Vladimir Putin stated that Russia intends to block supplies to Iran. The last resolution by UN Security Council bans supply of the Russian S-300 system to Iran as well.
