Information was received at about 02:21 pm that a traffic accident had taken place on Artashat-Yerevan highway not far from Burastan village and that there was a gas leak.  

One group of rescuers was dispatched to the scene.

As it turned out, a Nissan Infiniti QX4 (license plate number: 91 AD 999) had crashed into a stone barrier and overturned on the 5th km of Armenia’s Artashat-Yerevan highway.

Prior to the rescuer’s arrival at the scene, the driver A.G. (born in 1954), was taken to Artashat city Medical Center.

According to the doctors, the condition of the victim is moderately severe.
