YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Ministry of Labor has received overall 774 applications from Armenian citizens in August. The number of citizens visiting the Ministry during the same period was 249, out of which 113 were oral applications.

Prevailing part of the oral applications related to deposit compensation (46%), pension payment (13%) and family benefit (16%), submitted by 46, 15 and 16 citizens respectively.

Among the prevailing written applications were those relating to deposit compensation (8%), humanitarian aid (13%), pension payment (6%) and family benefit (7%), submitted by 58, 89, 42 and 49 citizens respectively.

In August, 306 applications were addressed, out of which 157 (51%) were clarified, 116 (37%) satisfied the request of citizens, 22 (7%) were transferred to other state authorities, and 11 (3%) were denied.  

During the reporting period, the Deputy Ministers held two receptions which were attended by 3 citizens. The reports drawn up on the basis of the instructions given during each reception were recorded and addressed in a manner stipulated by law.
