Ruslan, who witnessed the horrible tragedy in Sinyavskoe village of Russia’s Rostov Oblast told how the outraged villagers ruthlessly beat to death Armenian Rafael Khlghatyan, 22.
Ruslan was afraid to show his face. He is one of the few people who proved sober during that evening and remembers the happening very well. It was he who stopped the driver and took the keys out of the ignition lock.
Ruslan assures he didn’t take part in the battery, and was merely standing and watching. About 50 people were hitting a blow after blow first on Rafael and then on his father Sergey. Many people stood filming the battery on their phones, NTV reports. “Who couldn’t get to him and hit him, started to hit the car, the headlights and the windows,” Ruslan said.
Rafael Khlghatyan left behind his wife and small daughter Kristine, who turned 7 months on the day of the incident. The family was celebrating the girl’s christening.
The enraged crowd beat Ford Focus driver Rafael Khlghatyan, 22, to death as he had crashed into 5 parked cars in a state of intoxication.
The main participant of the battery, 46-year-old Andrey Z. from Russia’s Sinyavskoe village, was later detained.
