Over 6 million people around the world familiarized themselves with the sites and sounds of Armenia thanks to the social messaging service Snapchat, which featured Armenia as the first country in its “One Week of Countries” series debuting Monday.

Snapchat users generated a four-minute video featuring stories from Tsitsernakaberd (the Armenian Genocide Monument), Mayr Hayastan (Mother Armenia) Statue, Megerian Carpet Factory, Denmark vs. Armenia soccer match, Cross Stone factory, the Republic Square, and the regions of Aragatsotn, Ashtarak, and Lori.

Representatives of the Armenian Youth Federation (AYF) delivered a letter to Snapchat, telling the true history of the Turkish regions, as well historical facts about the Armenian Genocide, Asbarez reports.
