YEREVAN. - A meeting between the representatives of the notary chambers of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia took place today at Armenia’s Notary Chamber in the framework of the agreement signed by the notary chambers of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member-states. Issues related to the recent legislative and institutional reforms in notary system were discussed at the meeting. The participants also visited Yerevan’s notary offices, as reported by Armenia’s Justice Ministry Information and Public Relations Department.

At the meeting, member of Armenia’s Notary Chamber Department Marine Manukyan presented the introduction of the electronic notary system in Armenia, as well as the peculiarities of the aforementioned system according to the types of transactions carried out by the Single Window principle.

The guests praised on the recent reforms in Armenia’s notary system and also presented the notary sphere peculiarities of their countries. According to them, such discussions provide a good opportunity for studying and applying each other’s experience. 

The foreign notaries also visited Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex Tsitsernakaberd, where they lay wreath at the memorial and visited Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
