The scandalous magazine Charlie Hebdo has published a cartoon mocking the dead Syrian boy, whose body was discovered in the sand, whereby sparking severe criticism, Lenta.ru reports, citing The Daily Mirror.
The photo in the magazine depicts the dead child lying face down in the sand under the caption ‘So Close to Goal’. Above him is an advertisement for McDonald’s reading: ‘Two children’s menus for the price of one’.
The second cartoon captioned ‘The proof that Europe is Christian', shows Jesus walking on water next to the little boy upended in the sea. The inscription reads: ‘Christians walk on water’ and ‘Muslim children sink’.
According to the comments, these cartoons prove “the moral decay of France," while the Society of Black Lawyers threatened to file a lawsuit with the International Criminal Court.
