YEREVAN. – The National Assembly (NA) sessions, during which the proposed constitutional reform will be debated, will be broadcast live on the state-funded Public Television Company of Armenia.
NA President Galust Sahakyan stated about the aforesaid at Tuesday’s parliament sitting.
At the beginning of the session, opposition Armenian National Congress MPs had tabled such a motion to ensure the transparency of the respective NA discussions.
The new draft Constitution of Armenia will be debated in the NA. Pursuant to this draft, the country will make a transition from a semi-presidential to a parliamentary system of governance.
