YEREVAN. – The Iranian plastic can compete with the Turkish product being sold in Armenia.

Representative of the Sepid Naghshe Isfahan Co. and Sadra Negine Pasargad Co. of Iran, Iranian Armenian Patrick Shahbazian, told the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am, during the Expo 2015 held in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

“We want to widely introduce our product to the Armenian market for the first time,” added Shahbazian. “We are represented in Russia and in Georgia, and now, we want to increase our presence in Armenia.”

To the query on whether the Iranian plastic can compete with the Turkish one, he responded: “Certainly, since we have our own oil and [natural] gas, our own petrochemical in Iran, whereas Turkey imports the [respective] raw material from abroad, including Iran.”
