Prerelease show of Robert Guédiguian’s film entitled “A crazy story” took place in two crowded cinemas in Valence city of the French Drôme department. The show was attended by the film director himself, as well as the actors Ariane Ascaride and Simon Abkarian, the French-Armenian journal Nouvelles d'Arménie writes.

The film derived its inspiration from the story of the Spanish journalist Antonio Gurriaran, victim of an explosion masterminded by ASALA, but the plot is significantly changed. The Valence public received the more than two-hour long film with ovations, mentioning its quality. Before the prerelease show, the director and the two actors briefly introduced the film, this being followed by a discussion with the spectators. “A crazy story” will be released on November 11.
