Nagorno-Karabakh issue is an absolute political and diplomatic priority for Armenia, Head of the Republican parliamentary group Galust Sahakyan told the reporters on Wednesday. According to him, Armenia should appeal to the international community, friendly states with the request to launch the international recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh as an independent regional entity.

The MP stressed neighboring countries should open diplomatic missions in Nagorno-Karabakh. “It will ensure a higher level of public awareness,” he said, noting this will be another factor contributing to the peaceful solution to the conflict. “We seek peaceful resolution to Karabakh conflict,” Sahakyan emphasized.
