YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia has always assisted and quickly resolved all matters related to Iranian students.

Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Reisi, who is ending his diplomatic mission in Armenia, stated the aforementioned at Monday’s talk with Armen Ashotyan, the Minister of Education and Science.

The minister stressed the ambassador’s great personal contribution to Armenian-Iranian relations, informed the ministry press service. Ashotyan expressed confidence that Reisi, after the end of his term and as an academic, will continue assisting in the implementation of education programs.

The diplomat, for his part, highlighted that numerous projects were implemented during his tenure. He assured that these projects will continue and new ones will start under the new Iranian ambassador to Armenia.

The interlocutors also discussed the avenues for cooperation between the University of Louisiana (USA), Yerevan State University (Armenia), and the universities in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
