A baby without hands and one foot was born in the fall of 2014, at “Malatia” Medical Center in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan. 

Even though the pregnant woman had undergone numerous ultrasound scans at the same hospital, the baby’s parents did not know about the child’s condition during the whole pregnancy.

Little Rafayel, however, is finally with his parents, “Good Mama” NGO informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The little one’s parents had traveled to Russia for treatment,” the NGO representatives added. “But they never forgave themselves, and they constantly thought about Rafayel.”

Rafayel’s parents have returned from Russia, and the child is now in his home.

Until now, the child was in the care of the Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity organization.
