In the morning of October 1, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development will hold discussions on the preparation of the report on Sarsang Reservoir, which is unacceptable for the Armenia side, Naira Zohrabyan, leader of the “Prosperous Armenia” party and member of the Armenian delegation in PACE, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

The MP noted that unlike Robert Walter who at least turned to the representation of the Nagorno-Karabakh, the Bosnian rapporteur on the issue of Sarsang Reservoir Milica Markovic refuses to do so.

“Ms Markovic is stating everywhere that she is banned from visiting Nagorno-Karabakh but this isn’t so. There is single regulation: the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh must allow the entrance of the rapporteurs to their country. We have repeatedly proposed Milica Markovic to follow the regulation, but she is refusing,” Zohrabyan said.

According to the MP, Milica Markovic is going to visit Armenia and write a report on Sarsang Reservoir, contenting herself with her visit to Yerevan.  “Every time we explain her very thoroughly that Armenia has no reservoir called Sarsang,” Zohrabyan said.
