The status of the Russian military base in Armenia is a matter of Russia and Armenia alone, stated Mark C. Toner, U.S. Acting Deputy Department Spokesman. The U.S. and Armenia are closely cooperating partners, and the U.S. hopes for further cooperation, he said. Russia, in turn, is an OSCE Minsk Group member playing a constructive role, RIA Novosti reports, quoting Toner.
