“Our northern friend and partner Russia has recently wielded its influence in the South Caucasus. U.S. does not take it with keen interest, but with understanding,” political scientist Levon Shirinyan told the journalists on Thursday.

According to him, current intensified activities of Russia are different from the ones of Imperialistic Russia. Whatever happens, it is known from history Russia displayed activities by means of Armenia and was less influential leaving Armenia, the expert stressed.
