YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia greatly underscores the implementation of joint projects with transnational companies, and this enables to enter the global market.

Minister of Economy Karen Chshmarityan noted the aforesaid at Monday’s opening of ArmTech Congress ’15, the 8th Global Armenian High Tech Business Conference, in capital city Yerevan.

In his words, the increasing of Armenia’s role in Information Technology (IT) and the innovation sector is especially important in terms of increasing the regional role of the country.

“First, the creative mind of the Armenian people needs to be promoted here, [and] which means the creation of joint ventures, the implementation of joint projects with foreign companies,” said Chshmarityan.

The economy minister added that the objective of the Armenian government is to assist in the programs aimed at “the development of the human mind, and Armenia’s major positioning in the entire world.”
