YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia runs an open-door policy regarding investments and the implementation of several reforms, and the respective results are apparent.
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan noted the aforementioned at Thursday’s official opening of the Armenian-Iranian business forum, in capital city Yerevan.
In his words, Armenia runs a multivector economic policy and conducts free trade with numerous countries.
“We highly assess Armenian-Iranian cooperation,” the PM stressed. “The situation in the region increasingly contributes to passing to a new phase in Armenian-Iranian relations.”
As per Abrahamyan, the objective of this business forum is to acquaint the Iranian businessmen with the potential of Armenia.
In his words, quality workforce also bespeaks the investment opportunities in Armenia.
“The transport routes (…) are [also] important from the viewpoint of the development of economic relations between Armenia and Iran,” Hovik Abrahamyan added.
