YEREVAN. – According to the schedule for organizing the referendum on constitutional amendments, the process of formation of the referendum polling stations was over on Thursday.

Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia, Tigran Mukuchyan, on Saturday told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The [polling] station centers are specified, the serial numbers will be specified and submitted to the CEC,” Mukuchyan added. “The deadline is [Monday,] October 26.”

The referendum on Armenia’s draft constitutional amendments is slated for December 6.

Pursuant to the new draft Constitution, the country will make a transition from a semi-presidential to a parliamentary system of governance.
