The fact that the UN will consider and possibly pass the resolution on Nagorno-Karabakh is not out of common, political expert Yervand Bozoyan told the journalists on Tuesday. According to him, over 200 tough resolutions on Israel have been adopted by the UN, but presently Israel has no problems.
“We know that the member states of the Organization of the Islamic Conference will certainly vote for the resolution, while the OSCE Minsk Group will adopt more constructive stance,” he said. The expert considers that in case the resolution leads to certain actions by Azerbaijan there is one way out: “If Azerbaijan unleashes war, Armenia should immediately recognize independence of Nagorno-Karabakh and officially declare itself defender of NKR rights.”
