YEREVAN. - MP of the Armenian National Congress faction Hrant Bagratyan will alone run a campaign starting from November 1.

The opposition MP noted today that he will run the campaign with the members of his party, “Azatutyun.”

“I won’t join any front, but run my own campaign. We are launching meetings with province representatives starting from this week, although I doubt that we’ll manage to visit all the provinces before December 6,” the MP said.    

Bagratyan hopes people will vote against the constitutional amendments at the referendum, following which he will have the opportunity to be nominated as a candidate in presidential elections.

The referendum on constitutional amendments will take place on December 6.
