YEREVAN. - It’s necessary to do everything possible to get rid of Serzh Sargsyan’s power; it’s necessary to tell him together with the entire nation on December 6 that we need neither him nor his Constitution, Secretary of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) faction Aram Manukyan said at the rally of the constitutional amendments opponents held in Yerevan today.  

According to him, the meetings with the population in provinces are indicative of one thing: the nation understands very well that the question here is not the constitutional changes, but the attempt of the president to prolong his power. “The opposition should turn into reality the “No” which the people will say. The referendum and the processes going on around it are a good opportunity to demonstrate the people’s will,” Manukyan said.
