The names of the dead and the injured in the passenger bus, which crashed en route from Moscow to Yerevan, are being determined. 

Crisis Management Center of Tula Oblast (province), Russia, informed the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to the Center representative on duty, eight people were killed in the crash and 36 others were hospitalized. 

There were 43 people in the bus.

“Some of the injured are in serious condition,” the representative added.

According to the Russian traffic police, the accident was caused by the fact that the driver had fallen asleep behind the steering wheel.

Fortunately, there were no children on the vehicle.

The bus, which was traveling from Moscow to Yerevan, turned over in the early morning hours on Tuesday, on a highway in Tula Oblast.
