A total of 47 people, all of whom Armenian citizens, were injured in the crash—in Tula Oblast (province), Russia—of the passenger bus that was en route from Moscow to Yerevan.

Tula authorities informed the abovementioned, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

“There were 63 people on the bus, presumably, all are Armenian citizens” the respective statement reads. “Forty-seven people were injured, and seven people were killed.”

The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia had informed earlier that seven Armenian citizens were killed and 43 others were injured in the bus crash. Doctors say nine of the injured are in serious condition.

According to preliminary data, the passenger bus, which was traveling from Moscow to Yerevan, had gone off road for yet unknown reasons and turned over at around 3:08am, nearby Ilinka village in the Uzlovsky District in Tula Oblast, Russia.
