The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia had informed earlier that, according to preliminary data, a passenger bus, which was traveling from Moscow to Yerevan, had gone off road for yet unknown reasons and overturned on Tuesday at around 3:08am, nearby Ilinka village in the Uzlovsky District in Tula Oblast (province), Russia.

There were 59 passengers in the bus, and eight of them lost their lives in the crash.  

At present, a technical malfunction in the vehicle is considered a probable cause of this tragedy.

There is also a possibility that the bus driver might have fallen asleep behind the steering wheel.
