Seven of the eight casualties in the Armenian passenger bus that crashed in Tula Oblast (province), Russia, and en route from Moscow to Yerevan, have been identified.

Press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that these dead passengers are Spartak Nalbandyan, Gagik Hakobyan (born in 1961), Hrach Badalyan, Gagik Stepanyan, Varuj Stepanyan, Hayk Hovhannisyan, and Hakob Alikhanyan.

The passenger bus, which was traveling from Moscow to Yerevan, had the accident on Tuesday at around 2:10am, nearby Ilinka village in the Uzlovsky District in Tula Oblast, Russia. There were 59 passengers on the bus. At present, there are reports on eight casualties and 48 injured. All the injured were taken to the nearby hospitals. A technical malfunction in the vehicle is considered a probable cause of this tragedy. But there is also a possibility that the bus driver might have fallen asleep behind the steering wheel.
