Thirty-two passengers, who were injured in the Armenian bus crash in Tula Oblast (province) of Russia, will arrive in Yerevan from Moscow with a special flight on Thursday evening. The bodies of the eight casualties of this crash also will be aboard this plane.

The Embassy of Armenia in Moscow informed the above-said to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

A total of 59 people will arrive in Armenia’s capital city with this special flight. Ten of them are members of the Armenian government committee that was set up in connection with this tragedy, seventeen others are the relatives of the dead, and 32 people are the injured bus passengers who received medical treatment at and have been discharged from several Russian hospitals.

The delegation is expected to arrive in Yerevan at around 8pm.

A passenger bus, which was traveling from Moscow to Yerevan, had the accident on Tuesday at around 2:10am local time, in the Uzlovsky District in Tula Oblast, Russia.

There were 59 passengers on the bus, but no children were among them.

There are reports on eight casualties and 35 injured, and the latter were taken to the three nearby hospitals.

A technical malfunction in the vehicle is considered a probable cause of this tragedy. But there is also a possibility that the bus driver might have fallen asleep behind the steering wheel.

The Tula provincial court on Wednesday handed down a two-month arrest for the driver of this bus, Garnik Harutyunyan.
