YEREVAN. - Armenia will allocate 171 million AMD (approx. $360,000) to prepare and send its Olympic Team to the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, First Deputy Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan said at the parliamentary debate on the Draft State Budget for 2016.
And 64 million AMD will be allocated for the preparation and trip of the Paralympic athletes. Another 24 million AMD will be allocated for the business trip of the Armenia Team to the 2nd Winter Youth Olympic Games in Norway’s Lillehammer.
11,9 and 11,2 million AMD will be allocated for Armenia’s participation in the World Deaf Championship in Tehran and preparation to an analogous championship in Armenia respectively.
