Presently, the recognition of Karabakh by Armenia may become a matter for speculations in the international agencies due to some divergences, a political scientist, rector of Armenian Linguistic University after V. Brusov Suren Zolyan told the reporters on Thursday.

According to him, Armenia is better enter into a military-political, financial-economic alliance with Nagorno-Karabakh, rather than adopt such a declaration.

“If we speak of NKR independence, we should recognize it de facto. Today, Armenia is in confederative relations with Nagorno-Karabakh,” the analyst said.

Zolyan stressed Armenia should wait for further developments. If Azerbaijan goes on pursing its warlike policy and failing the peace process, Armenia should launch the recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh.
