YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Ex-President Levon Ter-Petrosyan himself decides whether to come to the next rally of the “No” front against the constitutional amendments in Armenia. Deputy Head of Armenian National Congress (ANC) party Aram Manukyan told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am, responding to the question on whether Ter-Petrosyan will attend “No” front’s next rally to be held in Yerevan’s Liberty Square on December 7.

“We also want it very much. But it’s up to him whether to come or not. I think he’ll be present at the next one. I hope so,” Manukyan said.

Subsequent rally of the “No” front struggling against constitutional changes took place in Yerevan’s Liberty Square today. It was followed by a march.  

The next rally of the “No” front will be held in Yerevan’s Liberty Square on December 3.

The “No” front has been joined by Heritage, People's Party of Armenia (PPA), Armenian National Congress (ANC) parties and representatives of “Founding Parliament” opposition civic group, as well as members of  Alliance of Freedom Fighters.  

The referendum on Armenia’s draft constitutional amendments is slated for December 6. Pursuant to the new draft Constitution, the country will make a transition from a semi-presidential to a parliamentary system of governance, and conduct completely proportional parliamentary elections. The referendum campaign has kicked off since October 10.
