YEREVAN. – The Police of Armenia have beefed up control in capital city Yerevan, since early Wednesday morning.

The Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informed that armed officers of the law are patrolling the motorways.

The Police news service informed us that they are performing their daily duties.

According to our information, however, the enhanced surveillance is related to Tuesday’s murder.

A bank lawyer, by the name of Hovhannes Atanyan, was killed Tuesday evening in a downtown street in Yerevan.

We have found out that the murder suspect is being searched.
