YEREVAN. - Eduard Sharmazanov, Vice-President of Armenian Parliament and spokesman of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), is sure that more people attend a single wedding than the rallies called by the Armenian National Congress (ANC).

“We have presented arguments on why to vote in favor of the constitutional amendments. Whereas our colleagues, who propagate “No,” presented no arguments. Part of them urged to vote “No,” while others urged to boycott the referendum. Still others say “No,” but are actually for “Yes,” Sharmazanov said.

According to him, if one party is not able to ensure proxies in all polling stations, it's wrong to expect more from them.

ANC and People's Party of Armenia (PPA) held a rally in Yerevan's Liberty Square today.

The referendum on constitutional amendments will be held this Sunday.
