Resident of Armenia, Ms Alice, 57, who was born on December 31, is very well aware of the inconveniences of her birthday.

“Already throughout 57 years, the New Year has spoilt my day. It’s a special day, when you want to be in the center of attention, while on New Year’s Eve everyone hurries to congratulate my New Year instead of my birthday. Even the close relatives forget about my birthday after the first glass,” Alice told Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent.

Ms Alice no longer cares about the fact that instead of going to hairdresser’s and fitting new dresses on her birthday, she receives congratulations on the phone in an apron smeared with flour. She jokes that she consoles herself by the words heard from her parents back in her childhood: “You are the best New Year present for us.”
