YEREVAN. – Danish citizen Komandar Mamadi, 32, is accused of illegally crossing the Armenian-Iranian border.

Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned the aforesaid from the Judicial Information System.

According to the indictment, Mamadi did not have the relevant documents to enter Armenia from Iran.

On November 5 at around 9:40pm, the said Danish citizen had crossed the Armenian state border from Iran, and through the area nearby Alvank rural community in Syunik Province of Armenia, and without the necessary documentation. 

Criminal charged have been brought against Komandar Mamadi.

He is under arrest.

The case is being heard in court.
