A man dressed as Santa Claus robbed two stores in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Gazeta.ru news site of the country reported citing FlashNord news agency.

According to a law enforcement source, a man with a white beard and a red cap threatened a store clerk with an air gun, and forced the clerk to give him 6,300 rubles (approx. US$84.71).  

Fifteen minutes later, this “Santa” tried to rob another store, but this time he met resistance and was detained.

He is a 25-year-old resident of the city, and he was charged with robbery.
