YEREVAN. – Armenia’s agriculture recorded an 11.6-percent growth in the eleven months of 2015, Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan stated at Monday’s working consultation.

“And now, we need to mobilize all efforts to maintain the growth rates, (…) [and] resolve the shortcomings and problems,” Karapetyan noted, the Ministry of Agriculture informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, the minister underscored the need to intensify activities toward the introduction of innovative technologies in the growing of plants.

In addition, Karapetyan reflected on several programs to be implemented in livestock industry.

Some other matters were also discussed during the consultation.
