U.S. President Barack Obama held a telephone conversation with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Obama stressed the Turkish nation’s participation in the constitutional referendum proved democracy exists in Turkey, Turkish Milliyet daily reports.
U.S. President expressed his conviction that result of the referendum would further strengthen Turkish democracy.
