September 13, the Energy Ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Romania have discussed the Baku Declaration on AGRI (Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania Interconnector) project today.
The document is expected to be signed by the presidents of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Romania on September 14, in Baku, APA agency reports.
Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev informed about the project and noted that joint company will be established for searching of donors financing the project.
According to Romanian Minister of Economy, Trade and Business Environment (MECMA) Ion Ariton this project will have diversification of transportation of energy transporters to Romania.
Georgian Energy Minister Alexandr Khetaguri said the project will consist of several stages.
Azerbaijan, Georgia and Romania have signed a memorandum of agreement on realization of AGRI project in Bucharest, on September 13.
