YEREVAN. – The Minister of Justice of Armenia, Arpine Hovhannisyan, on Sunday headed for Strasbourg, France, on a working visit until Tuesday.

Press service of the Ministry of Justice informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that during the trip, Hovhannisyan is scheduled to meet with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland.

The interlocutors are expected to discuss several matters of mutual interest.

To note, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Winter Session has kicked off Monday in Strasbourg.

Two anti-Armenian resolutions will be put to a vote on Tuesday at the PACE Winter Session. They are PACE MP Robert Walter’s (UK) report entitled “Escalation of Violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and Other Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan,” and PACE MP Milica Marković’s (Bosnia and Herzegovina) report about Sarsang Reservoir in Nagorno-Karabakh, and entitled “Inhabitants of frontier regions of Azerbaijan are deliberately deprived of water.”
