The deliberations on the two anti-Armenian reports, and which refer to Nagorno-Karabakh, have begun Tuesday along the lines of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Winter Session in Strasbourg, France.

MPs of the Council of Europe member states are debating PACE MP Robert Walter’s (UK) report entitled “Escalation of Violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and Other Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan,” and PACE MP Milica Marković’s (Bosnia and Herzegovina) report about Sarsang Reservoir in Nagorno-Karabakh, and entitled “Inhabitants of frontier regions of Azerbaijan are deliberately deprived of water.”

Ex-President of PACE Anne Brasseur had stated at Monday’s pre-session press conference that a large number of MPs proposed not to hold a discussion on the aforementioned reports.

According to her, however, the final decision—whether the discussion is to be held, or the reports should be sent back to the committees—must certainly be made by the Assembly.
