YEREVAN. – Georgia has a strategic relationship with Turkey.

Minister of Defense of Georgia Tinatin “Tina” Khidasheli, who is visiting Armenia, on Monday noted the aforementioned during a briefing at the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. 

The Georgian minister noted that the development of relations with NATO member Turkey is of great importance for her country.

In this context, Khidasheli thanked the Turkish side for its collaboration within the framework of the North Atlantic Alliance.

“The assistance, which both Armenia and Turkey rendered during the flood in [the Georgian capital city of] Tbilisi, is also a bright example [of cooperation],” the Georgian defense minister added.
