At its special sitting September 16 the RA Commission for Protection of Economic Competition initiated administrative proceedings against the Lusakert poultry factory for unfair competition.

After monitoring Yerevan sales outlets, the Commission found eggs produced by the factory without the production date.

NEWS.am reminds readers that the company, as well as four other egg-producers, was held responsible under the Commission’s decision of July 28. The company was obliged to settle the problem within 20 days.

On August 30, the Commission conducted monitoring and found out that all the companies except for Lusakert Company eliminated violations.

Commission Chairman Artak Shaboyan issued a statement, but further monitoring found the same situation at supermarkets.
