YEREVAN. – The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, on Friday began a series of consultations with the country’s ambassadors and mission chiefs to foreign countries and international organizations.

The consultations will aim to intensify Armenia’s economic ties with its partner countries.

He noted that the day’s consultation was devoted to Iran, and Armenia’s opportunities to become a primary transit route to link the ports of the Persian Gulf and of the Black Sea.

At the end of the consultation, President Sargsyan gave relevant instructions to the discussants and respective administration, and regarding the matters, key issues, and plans that were discussed.
