YEREVAN. – The National Assembly of Armenia on Friday passed, in the second and final reading, the bill on the creation of a new ministry.
The bill, which envisions making respective amendments in the law on the composition of the government of the country, was adopted by a vote of 71 for, 17 against, and 1 abstention.
Pursuant to this new law, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations will be divided into two separate ministries.
