YEREVAN. - State property revenues grew by 33.4 percent in Armenia in 2015.
Arman Sahakyan, head of the State Property Management Department adjunct to the Armenian Government, stated the aforementioned, introducing to the Government the report on the activity of his agency in 2015.
During a year, the Department worked out and submitted legal acts for raising the efficiency of privatization, as well as normalizing the activity of commercial organizations with state participation.
Arman Sahakyan presented the final information on state property revenues for 2015. According to him, this amount constituted 2.9 bln AMD ($5.8 mln) in 2015, or 33.4 percent more than in 2014.
PM Hovik Abrahamyan underscored the importance of further increasing the efficiency of state property management, including through privatization.
