The dead body of a newborn baby was discovered Friday in a river in Mrgavet village, in Ararat Province of Armenia.
Armenian News-NEWS.am found out that the dead baby was seen in a waterway in the village fields.
The villagers said the newborn was a boy.
The Police have confirmed this information by Armenian News-NEWS.am.
A criminal case is launched into this incident.
It is yet unknown how the baby had ended up in the waterway.
A forensic medical examination is commissioned.
