YEREVAN. - The Armenian police have suppressed the attempts of a group of activists to stage a protest directly in front of the Presidential Palace in Yerevan.

The protest is held over the arrest of activists Vardges Gaspari and Gevorg Safaryan.

The protestors first stood on the opposite side of the street, but then they decided to move closer. However, the police managed to stop them.

Another protest is being staged in front of “Nubarashen” criminal-executive institution.
